Being a postpartum doula involves more than just providing assistance; it’s about fostering a nurturing environment where new families can thrive. The transition to parenthood can be overwhelming, and my role is to empower parents with the knowledge and resources they need. By offering tailored support in newborn care, feeding techniques, and effective self-care strategies, I aim to create a safe space for parents to express their feelings and concerns.

Parenting is not a solitary journey; it requires a community. I work closely with families to encourage open communication and collaboration, ensuring that each family member feels valued and heard. This holistic approach not only strengthens family bonds but also enhances the overall well-being of both the parents and the newborn.

The joy that comes from witnessing families develop their unique dynamics and grow in confidence is unparalleled. Each moment spent with them reaffirms my commitment to this vital work. It is a privilege to guide families through this transformative chapter of their lives, celebrating each milestone and offering support whenever it is needed.

About Me

I am a proud Bay Area native and the mother of my wonderful son, Parker. My journey into postpartum doula work began after observing my cousin manage her busy household while supporting families as a night doula. Her dedication inspired me and served as a guiding force in my career.

After Parker's birth, I faced challenges as a new parent, highlighting the need for support and resources for families. This experience ignited my passion for postpartum work, and I immersed myself in understanding this crucial period.

I believe it’s essential for mothers to prioritize their mental and physical well-being. My goal is to help new parents navigate challenges, ensuring they feel supported and empowered. I strive to create a nurturing environment for families to thrive, offering tailored guidance to meet unique needs.

Beyond my doula work, I enjoy exploring the Bay Area's culinary scene, hiking, and traveling. I advocate for self-care for both parents and children. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your journey into parenthood! Together, we can navigate this beautiful yet challenging transition.

I tailor my services to meet your unique needs, always with the understanding that every family’s journey is different. My mission is to provide gentle guidance, reassurance, and practical support during this special, and sometimes challenging, time.

Testimonials

"Fiona was amazing to work with! She helped us so much as we navigated several big transitions with our baby. She paid extremely close attention to detail, noting sleep and feed data logged in the BabyConnect app and making adjustments as needed to best care for our sweet boy (example: increasing his night/dream feed volume to compensate for fewer calories consumed during the day; Noting his sleep daytime sleep patterns to help us maximize nighttime sleep). She definitely went above and beyond what was expected and even reorganized his dresser and closet into a more efficient and convenient system! We are so grateful to Fiona -- know that you are in good hands with her!"
